Providing Care For Your Seniors

About GoldenCare

GoldenCare is a nonprofit, community-based entity founded in 2001 and licensed by S.C. DHEC since 2003. Our Adult Day Health Care and In Home Health Care office are located downtown, near many medical complexes and 1/2 mile from MUSC-L Hospital. GoldenCare is a founding member of S.C. Adult Services Coalition and former S.C. Adult Day Care Coalition.

Adult Day Health and In Home Health Care services provide a solution for care and workforce issues which have recently intensified. This supervised care enables elderly and special needs citizens to remain in their home, preventing or delaying nursing home or institutional placement. Services are also vital for many caregivers who cannot successfully initiate or return to work without safe care for their loved ones.

Our Staff

GoldenCare employs Registered Nurses, CNAs and Personal Care Aides (PCAs). Applicants are thoroughly screened, including criminal checks, and pass competency tests and training prior to start of work. Inservice training and random drug screens are ongoing.

GoldenCare's goal is to select qualified personnel who meet the required standards of education, experience, certification or license, can work effectively and have the capacity to grow within their job and become an integral part of our organization.  GoldenCare  is an affirmative action employer and complies with all regulations in regard to equal employment, fair practice and affirmative action.  Our employment practice is to hire qualified individuals without regard to race, color, creed, national origin, ancestry, marital status, gender, gender identity, sexual preference or orientation and mental or physical disability or handicap, depending on specific job requirements.  This policy is applicable to all personnel actions, including recruitment, hiring, compensation, benefits, promotions and discharge.
