About GoldenCare

GoldenCare is a nonprofit entity, community-based entity founded in 2001 and licensed by S.C. DHEC since 2002. Our Adult Day Health Care and In Home Health Care office are located in downtown Lancaster, near many medical complexes and 1/2 mile from MUSC-L Hospital. GoldenCare is a founding member of the former S.C. Adult Services Coalition and S.C. Adult Day Care Coalition. 

For more than twenty years, we have continually been committed and remained the sole provider of licensed, supervised, accessible programs for physically and/or mentally disabled and special needs adults. 

GoldenCare's Adult Day Health and In Home Health Care services provide a vital solution for safe, reliable, care and workforce issues which have recently intensified. This supervised care enables elderly and special needs citizens to remain in their home, preventing or delaying nursing home or institutional placement, and the opportunity to for their caregivers to enter, rejoin, or remain in the workforce and provide for their families. 

Our Staff

GoldenCare's staff includes Registered Nurses and Personal Care Aides (PCAs). Applicants are thoroughly screened, including criminal checks, and pass competency tests and training prior to start of work. Inservice training and random drug screens are ongoing.
